Performance will always be an important part of the Routetitan platform. However, this is the last in a series of performance updates dedicated to this purpose. For the next version, we aim to release some new and exciting features.
Major performance improvements
Significantly improved the speed of starting a route via the Routetitan Driver app (web, Android, iOS)
Significantly improved the speed of completing stops in a route
Significantly improved the speed of updating stop details
Significantly improved the speed of duplicating a project

General performance improvements for all API requests
New route optimization engine
Our route optimization engine powers everything in the Routetitan platform and is the heart of our product. We have been hard at work on our route optimization engine for the past few months. The main goals were to increase the speed of optimizing routes (especially for larger projects) while at the same time increasing the quality of the routes it creates. After months of work we’re now proud to include it in this version of Routetitan!
New product tour
Understanding how to use Routetitan to get the most value from it is important. We’ve completely redesigned the product tour and split it into three parts:
Part 1: creating a project
Part 2: adding stops, enabling vehicles and optimizing the project
Part 3: publishing project and sending routes to drivers
You can start the product tour manually by visiting this link or by pressing the “Product Tour” button from the menu in the bottom left three dots button.
Other fixes and improvements
Store user’s map settings for projects so that the user doesn’t have to change them every time
Fixed a bug that caused the project sidebar on the left to be scrollable
When visiting https://app.routetitan.com the user should be rerouted to https://app.routetitan.com/projects
Fixed a bug where when duplicating a project and giving it a different name, the new name would not show immediately
Fixed a bug where when changing the name of a project, the new name would not show immediately
Removed the route number when printing the routes
Fixed a bug where when discarding changes in a stop would sometimes cause the user to be thrown out of the project
Fixed bug that could show the project count incorrectly sometimes
When Creating a new project or duplicating an existing one, automatically set today’s date as the project date
When Creating a new project or duplicating an existing one, automatically focus the cursor on the project’s name input field so the user can start typing immediately
Discontinued the Individual plan
